RACE- Round Saltspring Island

RACE- Round Saltspring Island

For the 16th year the Vancouver Sailing Club has been a competitor in this quintessencial PNW yacht race circumnavigating " Lotus Land".

Over the course of its 46 year history, the 'Round Saltspring has become a favourite amongst PNW competitors and the VSC. The race and all the on-shore activities are well organized by an army of friendly volunteers making everything run like clockwork, including a complex recycling system that helps the regatta meet their Clean Marine commitments. The fleet of up to 120 yachts enjoys some highly challenging sailing given the aggressive tidal patterns that ebb and flow around Salt Spring Island.

And there's even a delicious lamb BBQ included for the crew!

Call Carl, our Skipper, at the VSC for more information and an invitation to register.
